Trim Levels

Genesis makes the G80 in three trim levels: the 3.8, 3.3T Sport, and 5.0. Each trim level's name is indicative of the type of engine under the hood. The 3.8 trim's 3.8-liter V6 engine makes 311 horsepower and 293 lb.-ft. of torque; the 3.3T Sport gets a turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine  making 365 horsepower and 376 lb.-ft. of torque; and the 5.0 has a 5.0-liter V8 that cranks out 420 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. They all have the same eight-speed automatic transmission and are available in either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The base 3.8 gets some excellent standard equipment, including 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires, leather seating, heated front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and some state-of-the-art active safety technology (see  the Safety section below for details). The 3.8 trim is eligible for two optional packages. The Sport Package adds 19-inch alloy wheels, unique front and rear bumpers, a sport steering wheel, sport pedals, a surround-view monitor, a power tilt-and-slide panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats, a wireless charging pad, and a Lexicon 14-speaker audio system. The Ultimate Package has all of the features of the Sport Package, plus LED fog lights, Nappa leather seats, a full-color head-up display, a 9.2-inch high-definition navigation system, a heated steering wheel, and a Lexicon 17-speaker audio system with Quantum Logic Surround & Clari-Fi Music Restoration Technology.

The 3.3T Sport trim gets everything that's found in the Ultimate package, plus a performance-tuned suspension, quad exhaust tips, and carbon-fiber interior trim. The 5.0 also comes standard with all the 3.8 Ultimate's features, but it also gets quad exhaust tips and a microfiber suede headliner, along with the more powerful engine.
